Varija Reddy

Interior designer Varija Reddy is known for her eclectic and versatile designs, bringing a unique approach to every project she takes on, whether it might be contemporary or traditional style. She believes in designing spaces that are simple yet effective and luxurious – an idea that is not based on cost but on how a client feels in a space.

As a designer and stylist, Interior designer Varija Reddy has always been interested in creative work. Prior to pursuing her current profession, she excelled and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and later left to US to pursue her Masters in Computer Science. She worked at several Fortune 100 companies in US for over fifteen years before she returned to India. She turned her all time passion to design homes into reality, when she enrolled in Hamstech Institute. Her own house was her first project, where her creative designs resulted in winning an award for best residential in Hyderabad for the year 2016.

Varija Reddy, is also passionate about traveling. Being a globe trotter, she takes inspirations from her exotic travels which supplement her design philosophy. She describes her style in four words – Timeless, Functional, Elegant and Artful.

The guest room door is cleverly camouflaged with wooden rafters, adding an element of intrigue and sophistication to the design. The flooring, made from Italian marble, adds a touch of opulence to the room. Relax in style on the custom-made sofa, where one can enjoy views of the garden or indulge in a favourite TV show, all while basking in the unparalleled elegance of this space.

The second-floor lounge area features a sophisticated red leatherette sofa, complemented by a cream-colored chair. The designer’s attention to detail is showcased by the artistic artifacts on the walls, which match the brass inlay in the marble flooring. This versatile space can also be used for parties, with easy access to the terrace for extra guests.

This master bedroom exudes serenity with its calming shades of blue and cream and Italian marble flooring. The Asian Paints wallpaper behind the bed adds a touch of sophistication and elegance to the space. The hanging lights contribute to the symmetry of the room, while the custom-made bed, with its blue-coloured velvet headboard, adds a luxurious touch.

The bedroom also boasts a spacious walk-in wardrobe with a dedicated dressing area, allowing for a seamless transition from morning routine to relaxation. The bathroom is equally stunning, with marble cladding on the walls around the mirror that enhances the grandeur of the space.

The daughter’s bedroom features a luxurious leather-finished marble wall behind the bed, paired with stunning wooden flooring. The bed and sofa are both custom-made to fit the room’s unique design, while personalized photo frames tastefully adorn the walls, adding a special touch to this space.

Transforming a small corner into an intimate bar area for two, the space flaunts a backlit onyx stone and duco-painted bar with hanging lights that elevate the area both in style and ambience. Matching the colour of the barstools with the curtains and stairs creates a cohesive look that unites the entire space.

The formal drawing room radiates timeless elegance with its exquisite neo-classic modern design. MDF sheet mouldings with duco paint add depth and texture to the walls, while strategically placed lights enhance the warm and welcoming ambience. A custom-made microfiber sofa with a luxurious suede look, complemented by a hand-picked centre table and matching carpet, complete the sophisticated feel of this space.

In this elegant white kitchen, custom-made cabinets create a streamlined look and visually expand the space. A white door leads to the wet kitchen, and a beautifully designed pooja room adds depth and dimension. This automobile-inspired bedroom is a dream for young enthusiasts, with antique car and jet engine frames on the walls. The large window offers a view of lush greenery and floods the space with natural light. The blue bed and grey carpet create a striking contrast, while the white and blue curtains, pillows, and artefacts add sophistication.

This master bedroom emits understated elegance with its subtle yet stylish design. The wall behind the bed is divided into two sections, with cream-coloured paint in the top section and white-coloured paint on the wooden panel in the bottom section, adding depth and interest to the space. A long wooden bench spans the wall from end to end, providing ample seating for guests. The dressing table and cupboards add a touch of functionality to the room without compromising on aesthetics. The Italian marble flooring is adorned with a plush carpet that complements the colour palette of the room, tying the entire design together seamlessly.

The daughter’s dressing room exudes high-end luxury with its Sabyasachi allpaper and designer dressing table. The elegant wallpaper sets the tone for the space, making it a stylish haven for dressing and preparing for the day. A full-length mirror with cove lighting offers practicality, ensuring that the room is not only beautiful but also highly functional.

The home theatre emanates a classic charm with its dark grey upholstered sofas, making it an ideal space to unwind and enjoy movies.
